YU Resort Kenya opened in 2024 as the vision of founder Dr. Andreas Held, who set out to create a secluded luxury retreat on the untouched beachfront of Msambweni. The resort sits on Beach Road in Msambweni, a coastal town in Kwale County on Kenya’s South Coast, approximately 25 kilometres south of Diani Beach and 30 minutes from Ukunda Airstrip. This location gives guests the calm exclusivity of Msambweni while keeping the restaurants, shops, and attractions of Diani within easy reach.
The 4-star resort features 29 individually furnished rooms spread across two distinct accommodation experiences: the Upper Resort, set within lush tropical gardens, and the exclusive Beach Villa, positioned directly on the shoreline of the Indian Ocean. Many rooms include private pools, ocean views, and private balconies designed for comfort and privacy.
